Who is familiar with Pearl Evo SL
It has very good specs... light, ok geometry, cheaper than competition, can be used for long-hauls...

They do look similar. Honest question; how does one find out this info? Are there industry folx out there discussing how "Manufacturer *" is making bikes for Company X, Y, and Z?

the cable routing on that frame looks terrible, it is a Workswell WCB-R-208, pretty much have to run electronic groupset, i would take Carbonda CFR696 over this anyday

No clue. What little industry knowledge I gained beyond point-of-sale retail operations was that there were only so many manufacturers of carbon bike frames and that these non-big box brands source them for branding.

Thesis (https://thesis.bike/) would be another one. Now they'll probably tell you what they do "above and beyond" just slapping paint on Carbonda frame and all of the marketing/sales pitches that come with it.

Having considered an Obed, I was pleased with their pre-sales support with regards to questions. Quite frankly, had they not ghosted me on a reply, I probably would have pulled the trigger during one of their closeout sales.

Personally, the biggest thing that I would consider as a customer is what post-sales support and warranty support looks like from any of these companies.

setting up exclusive composite factory is quite expansive even big brands like Trek have to share their factory with Canyon

Thanks for sharing. I was looking at Thesis just the other day.
I agree with you that warranty is important but any post-sales support I'd likely take to my LBS and pay them.

You got it! At the end of the day, doing your research and making your final decision is your call. There's always going to be that horror story you find on the internet about manufacturer X or Y.
