Cyclocross course in Fayetteville
For anyone interested in the story of getting the UCI World Champs in USA Arkansas, Velonews has an article.

I found it interesting. Story is not about racing per se.

I am of question... Whats going on? Will there be a race or not?
I was shocked when in 2015 they canceled Austin Texas's Cyclocross National Championships due to Grass and Trees...

This should be in Political thread.Because for me, it has always been about the sport. While I might be a race organizer, I am, at heart, a cyclocross fan. Last week, I traveled to Monopoli, Italy, the site of the 2003 ’cross worlds. The start grid has long since worn away and, when asked, the locals have no recollection of the event.
until he wrote this article it was all about the sport. I understand and feel for the guy but he made an event a political grand stand about things that were already in the works like they are in most GOP states for the last few years.
Good read non the less. I hope they have a great race!! Many of the racers there don't know or most possible don't care about the politics in AR or anyplace in the US. they just want to race. Leave it at that.

Good on Brook for sticking to his guns and living his convictions. Too bad there aren't more like him.
