Tubeless pressure?

Tubeless pressure?
The PSI on the sidewalls says 60-80, but that's with tubes. I'm a fatty so I want to keep the pressure up a little so I don't wreck the rims. Is it OK to run 60PSI? What is the lowest that you guys would recommend for my 240# weight?

I’m the same weight, maybe 5lbs more, and on my 700x35 I run 50-52/53-55psi f/r.
I’d definitely 2nd the suggestion to hit up a calculator, specifically the Silca online calculator, and start with those recommended pressures. Off the top of my head I’d guess you could easily start at 47/50 f/r, but playing with the road surface and bike settings on the Silca site would be better than benchmarking off my peculiarities.

38mm tires @ 60 psi sounds good for 240 lb rider - tubed

check the rear tire (sidewall) as you ride - there might still be a fair amount of deflection (even at 55-60 psi) ?

That Silca calculator claims the OP should be at 42.5f/44.5r for psi, yet I am 20# lighter and the Silca calculator claims I should be at 42f/43.5r.
- There is 0 chance that I ever care so much about PSI that I sit there and set it to .5 increments.
- There is 0 chance that my high quality pump is accurate to .5psi.
- The Silca calculator claims I should run my 43mm tires at 34f/35.5r, yet that makes for a ride that feels vague and sluggish. It simply isnt fun with tire psi that low. So I run it 10psi higher- 43ish f and 45r. The ride is still plenty soft on gravel for comfort while not feeling wobbly and vague due to lower than preferred psi.

it's the ish width. 40ish sounds right it just sat a while since I used it and wanted to get a rough ides. It was fine. Thanks guys!!

I run my 38mm tire at 40 psi. Seems fine. I'm not quite as heavy as OP though.
