Where can a beginner use this near Montreal?

I never intended to use it as a cyclocross. It was to commute during summer and train during winter. But if there's any kind of beginner/amateur competition near Montreal maybe I could try it. |

You get some strange looks from other cyclists & runners in summer when you dismount, shoulder & run with the bike for a few feet & remount on your merry way. When you feel the need, those big huge stairs make a wonderful run-up until you run out of gas or there are people in front of you. Ther are also pelnty of room to sprintout at the base of the park at the staue where the bongo drums play on Sundays. I see you bought your rig at Neron Sports. How much did you pay, if you don't mind me asking? |

I paid 1300$ including taxes. It was marked at 1200$+tx. I also got clip pedals 15% off and all the accesssories and clothing I wanted at 10% off. |
Come fall, there is always a group of riders from Martin Swiss who go practice at Mont Royal prior & during cyclocross season. Hope to see you in fall!!
