Cyclocross and Gravelbiking (Recreational) This has to be the most physically intense sport ever invented. It's high speed bicycle racing on a short off road course or riding the off pavement rides on gravel like : "Unbound Gravel". We also have a dedicated Racing forum for the Cyclocross Hard Core Racers.

Historic Mountain Bike Documentary

Hey All,
I just wanted to let you know that I'll be having the 'World Premiere' of my movie KLUNKERZ at the Mill Valley Film Festival in October. The film takes a look at the historic 1974 West Coast Cyclocross Championships in Mill Valley where members of the Morrow Dirt Club put multi-geared, thumb shifting, motorcycle lever using, 2.125 tired Klunkerz on the map! Gary Fisher, Joe Breeze, Otis Guy and Charlie Kelly were there to witness these innovations that helped give birth to the modern mountain bike. The press conference to announce screening times and dates takes place on September 13th. It's a feature-length documentary featuring interviews with Fisher, Breeze, Ritchey, Potts, Sinyard, Kelly, Bonds, J.F. Scott, Cunningham, Phelan, The Larkspur Cyn Gang, The Morrow Dirt Club and many more. There are many photos and a lot of archival footage that has never been seen before. If you'd like more information, please check out www.klunkerz.com. Thanks to the legends for their support on this project.
Ride on,
Billy Savage
