steel or carbon fork
Anybody shift from a metal fork to a Advanced Composits Woundup carbon fork? Did you actually feel any difference in the absorbtion factors?

I am wondering the same thing, but also if it would it be as long lasting, scratch resistant, etc. One rider I know complains that his carbon fork is starting to soften, but his experience may be the exception....
I cannot believe how difficult it is to get a bike with a steel fork. I have just learned that Tange still make them: https://www.jensonusa.com/store/produ...Road+Fork.aspx
At 692gm, it is not that heavy.....
