Cyclocross and Gravelbiking (Recreational) This has to be the most physically intense sport ever invented. It's high speed bicycle racing on a short off road course or riding the off pavement rides on gravel like :The Dirty Kanza". We also have a dedicated Racing forum for the Cyclocross Hard Core Racers.

Chicago stores

Im looking to buy a cyclocross in Chicago. Stores Ive been to so far
(get a grip, pony shop) just have one or two cyclocross bikes in stock.
Is there a store which might have a bigger selection to test out?

I wanna get a feel for what Im looking for, not big into road bikes
at all and have only owned mountain bikes but have my heart
set on a cyclocross.

have you checked out cycle smithy on clark? additionally, you might check Turin in Evanston - I prefer the attitude of Cycle Smithy (laid back), but Turin has a lot of bikes, and a lot of high end.
