ksyrium ssc sl replacement rim

Anyone know where i can order just a replacement ksyrium sl rim. I've searched everywhere. I really dont want to have to replace the whole wheel. Suprisingly this happened just from a blowout at 80psi. Nothing was hit.

I would think your LBS could get that for you....if there is not one local that you like....

Mavic-adidas Cycling Inc.
17 Parkridge Road 1835 HAVERHILL MASSACHUSSETS

Since I can not find a number for Mavic I figured Adidas would work...

you are a customer residing in the United States with an inquiry, please contact:
adidas USA
Customer Service
5055 N Greeley Ave.
Portland, OR 97217
USA
1 (800) 448-1796

I am thinking they might be able to put you in contact with the right person...

Good luck!!

It shouldn't be a problem to get, but they're priced quite high.

I took it to my not so LBS. The rim was $130 in fact and they sent the whole whell back to mavic for a rebuild. We snagged 3 spokes before it was sent. I'll get it back complete for $180 +shipping. Not a bad deal actually. I'll be sending in the rear for the same service. The rim is probably close to being shot on that one as well.

as for tubulars... that'll be the next wheelset. I will be running some tufo diamonds on these when i get em back. does tub clincher count?

It count, yes, 'cause you don't get that much pressure on the sidewalls, but a true tubular don't have any sidewalls except for the braking surface. Makes the rim lighter and stronger. Tires gets lighter too. It's a win win situation
