Cyclocross and Gravelbiking (Recreational) This has to be the most physically intense sport ever invented. It's high speed bicycle racing on a short off road course or riding the off pavement rides on gravel like : "Unbound Gravel". We also have a dedicated Racing forum for the Cyclocross Hard Core Racers.

True race bike? Downtube cabling? I'm confused.

I have a friend and cycling fiend who works for Santa Cruz (here in Santa Cruz, CA) who mentioned to me that they will be producing a frame ONLY. Didn't really give me any other info other than that as this was just part of casual conversation. I ran into him taking my JTS for it's first off road run and he was actually on a custom frame (not SC) and I asked him why Santa Cruz didn't do cyclocross stuff and that's when he mentioned the frame thing. If I run into him again (he lives a block from my house) will ask him if he has any more details.
