Cyclocross and Gravelbiking (Recreational) This has to be the most physically intense sport ever invented. It's high speed bicycle racing on a short off road course or riding the off pavement rides on gravel like : "Unbound Gravel". We also have a dedicated Racing forum for the Cyclocross Hard Core Racers.

yes, i have a computer problem. particularly since you can't see the 14 additional vintage Macs (or the two Newtons) in my apartment...

and then there's the other old Apple hardware and pre-Mac computers, and all the leftover PC stuff, and my current MacBook Pro, and my Windows desktop...

i need "computers anonymous." though i've been doing pretty well, not having bought any old hardware in over a year.

Here be my Rob Roy finally.

The wrap on the toptube is an experiment to add a grippy surface for grabbing and some padding for shouldering. I'm kind of liking it. I would prefer brown bar tape but the stuff doesn't exist unless you go leather. The tape on the toptube is what I first put on the bars (nashbar natural). The bars are origin8 gary's and I think I figured them out almost. The wheels are temporary cheapies I took off an old hybrid.

I've already got 3 scratches on it because I'm an idiot- they were all the handlbar without plug swinging into the top tube. Gar.

That's the best looking all-black one I've seen so far. To my eyes, at least.

Anyone got an uncut orange fork they want to sell? I have one cut down about 2" (still uses about 2" of spacers on a 54 frame) that I can trade, or will buy an uncut fork outright. I'd be interested in a black fork as well.

Nice use of Power Grips. I went home a few weekends back to visit my mom and found a ... geez, 14 year-old pair of Power Grips out in the garage. I think I might use those on my winter bike this year.

The build took a while, and my plans changed a bit during the process, but here she is.
