anybody using MTB rd in your Cxs bike?

Anybody using a sram mtb rd in your bike? a mtb rd will work as a regular road rd??

Thanks.

i'm not using SRAM - i'm using an XTR rear derailer and Campagnolo shifters with the aid of a Jtek Shiftmate.

Jtek makes a Shiftmate to match SRAM rear mechs to Shimano/Campy shifters, if that's the way you want to go.

a SRAM mountain derailer should work with a SRAM road shifter just fine - they both expect the same amount of cable pull. it's just that SRAM calls it "1:1 Actuation" in the mountain line and "Exact Actuation" in the road line.

I've got a medium cage XT RD on my Double Cross with Dura Ace bar end shifters. Works great. (I've got 48/39 front rings and an 11-34 casette, which gives me a very nice usable range.)
