Empella vs. Ridley

I've got an Empella Bonfire size 58 I'm trying to sell and am thinking instead of going a size larger to a 59, going to a Ridley. Anyone here ever ride the two or have an opinion on either. If interested in my Empella let me know as well and I'll send you a pic. I'm looking at the Crosswind in the Ridley, but do they run rather large. I'm begining to lean back toward the Empella, because I'm more familiar with the sizing.

Thanks in advance!

If you go to https://www.cyclocrossworld.com right now, there's an article about how SpaarSelect's Bart Wellens is getting fined because he wants to ride his Ridley even though his team has a contract with Empella...

the big problem with ridleys is that they do not have replaceable derailleur hangers.

Barts been riding an Empella since the case. The article says they, Ridley, will pay to have Bart on thier bike after March (expiration of Empella contract). So to me it sounds that Ridley wants Bart to ride a Ridley regardless of fines. Empella is a very small operation and they don't have the money to compete for the big contracts. On the other hand Ridley seems hell bent on becoming the major cross player. Nothing wrong with that just seems to speak more of promotion than bike quality.

I have an Empella Bonfire and a Ridley Pegasus (road) and like them both.

His results are impressive regardless of which bike he was on.
