What is your dream bicycle?
Long time ago I helped someone (a lot, according to him) and this dude suddenly materialized and wants to give me a present. He knows of my addiction and he's going to buy me a "bike of my dream" for my birthday. I have been looking for a cross bike that could handle some of the road duty, something along the lines of the bike used for Paris-Roubaix. Something that I could ride in the winter and fall on cross tires and fatter road tires during the sping/summer.
So, if YOU had to select a bike of your dreams, what would you pick? If I had to guess, the guy is willing to spend anywhere from 3 to 5 k USD.
P.S. My birthday is July 17th, so I don't have much time.

Frame - Ridley X-Night
Groupo- SRAM Rival (Great for cross, just about as light as Force, real durable, I love it on my Salsa)
Brakes - TRP CR 950's (Carbon and Lightweight but more adjustable than their EuroX's)
Bars/Seatpost - Stay away from Carbon, I've had good experience with Salsa Products
So here you're up to about 4k (Competitive Cyclist), use the rest to build up a good set of tubular cross wheels and you're set.
EDIT: I'm bored so I did up a set of Mavic Open Pro Ceramic Rims with DT Swiss 240's and DT Swiss Revolution Spokes (32 hole). Now you're up to 4500 or so, with plenty left to buy a set of Grifo's or two. If you want to go cheaper they have an excellent deal on an Excalibur built up with Rival too.

What I did when I built my cross dream bike was to get a Stevens Cyclocross bike, minus gears, in the classifieds, and a new SRAM red group from ebay. This set me back about $3500 and now I have a super-light cross bike with the best gears money can buy. Maybe it's not an option in this case, but I always recommend buying used stuff, it's so much better value for money.

Waterford custom steel frame
Dura-Ace group (46t/39t rings)
Paul brakes
Thompson components
Mavic Reflex laced to White Industries H2 hubs
FMB tubulars
For the pit, maybe a singlespeed version of above just for variety.

I'm in love with the Habanero Cross bike.
I'd get it with a Ritchey WCS carbon fork. Put SRAM Red on there, some Paul Neo-Retros, Thomson stem and post, Phil Hubs on Mavic A 719 rims or Open Pros if you have any mind to run tires skinnier than 28.
Bar-wise I'm pretty partial to the Ritchey Biomax, but it's a personal thing. I have no need for carbon, like my alu cheapies just fine, even though it's a dream bike.
Might as well put a Chris King Headset on there if it's a dream bike
Couldn't tell you how much that runs ya, but it's gotta be in your range.

As much as I like steel, if money were no object, I'd have to go with Ti. Specificly, the Moots Psychlo-X:
