Shimano SPD-SL...illadvisable for CX?
So I'm thinking of moving my Shimano PD-7810 SPD-SL pedals from my roadbike to my cx bike. Would this be bad for cx? Or do you think they'll be fine?
Thanks!
Thanks!

If you feel like you can tackle a muddy run-up with road shoes, more power to you.

Why? The seem like the least practical choice of any pedal for cross.

My vote is SPDs and Lake MX165s. I have ATACs on my new cross bike and am just not feeling them so far. The shoes (Lake), on the other hand, feel great. I've got SPDs on my commuter and they work pretty well, though I haven't ridden that bike on a cross course.
