Cyclocross and Gravelbiking (Recreational) This has to be the most physically intense sport ever invented. It's high speed bicycle racing on a short off road course or riding the off pavement rides on gravel like : "Unbound Gravel". We also have a dedicated Racing forum for the Cyclocross Hard Core Racers.

so i tried to go riding this morning :(

so i was off for a nice cross ride this morning trying to beat the rain , and i screwed my self up good , my truck sits a little high & my bike is roof mounted , as always i have to open the drivers door climb up unclamp the fork drop outs , undo the rear wheel ratchet gran the stem top tube & jump off the door sil backwards and land on my left ankle side ways & it made a nice ripping sound OUCH !! , oh well stuff happens , i went to the urgent care and the put it in a splint and gave me a shiny new set of crutches , nothing was broken which is good although i can walk on it as it is the size of a baseball , oh well they say it is suposed to rain for the next 5 days i hope it heals fast

Woah, that sucks! Have a quick recovery. Does your bike fit in the back of your pick up?

Good luck with your injury. Nothing worse then Injuries for us cyclists because we are not able to get our endorphins and other natural body reactions to cycling. Take it easy as long as you can.
