Disc-only wheelset

I'm going to build a cross bike starting with a Salsa Las Cruces frame. I'm going with discs, so I'm looking for a disc-only wheelset. Price is not a primary issue - I want light and strong. Thus far, I'm considering the Mavic Speedcity wheelset, but I think it's also a rim brake wheelset which I'd prefer not to have. I'm also open to building a wheelset.

Thoughts? ThanX!!!

I have the Speed City wheels and yes they are also a rim brake wheelset. I use them with rim brakes. Nice wheels!

the speed city's weigh-in at about 2000 g, so they're far from light. if price is not an issue, you could always build up a set of carbon rims on xt disc hubs... or go for the old standby open pros. to my knowledge there are no 700c rims that do not have rim brake capability.

Cool - thanX for the info. I'm probably going to go with the SpeedCity wheelset. It's not light, but I'm guessing it's pretty indestructible.

Alex makes a 700c disc rim. Have a set of 36hole on XT hubs and it is a good setup. I use them for touring now, but I plan to use them the season for cyclo-cross
