Tektro CR720/Kool Stop pads

Does anyone know if the stock cartridge pad holders that come with the CR720 brakes are compatible with Kool Stop cartidge pad inserts? Has anyone run this combo with salmon pad inserts?

Yes. Fine. I believe all cartridge pads will fit all cartridge holders in general, even if the pads are straight and the cartridges are curved.

Thanks, Tim!

That's what I was hoping. Now, to squelch the heinous squealing from my Oryx brakes!

I'm taking it you're going to use the Oryx in the back because of heel strike. Have you tried a 720 out back? I've only had that problem one 1 bike and it was a MTB with short stays. Good luck and post some reviews when you get it done.

yup. I had them on both front and back but kept scratching myself on mounts/dismounts. Then again.. my bike was slightly too big for me. Anyway, I'm hoping to sell my road frame near the end of summer and build up a new frame with the parts.
