Cyclocross and Gravelbiking (Recreational) This has to be the most physically intense sport ever invented. It's high speed bicycle racing on a short off road course or riding the off pavement rides on gravel like : "Unbound Gravel". Aluminum cross bike with 135 mm dropout spacing ?

Does anyone sell a cross bike with:

1. Aluminum frame (for light weight)
2. 135 mm rear dropout spacing (for a lower dish rear wheel)
3. 11 - 34 9-speed cassette (to convert to a 1x9 with widest possible gear range)

Thanks.

You can buy Nashbar's CX frame / fork and build it up as a 1x9... I did this. You can also run discs.

135mm allows you to buy a set of "29'er" wheels... I'll bet you knew that.

Not anymore. Nashbar changed the spacing to 130mm.

I am pretty sure my particular year's Major Jake by Kona is exactly what you describe. I am running a 11-32 right now on it.
