lemond fork; good deal?

is 100 $ plus 10 in shipping a good deal for a steal straight blade fork off a lemond poprad. I cant figure out the pricing on this bike. I head lemond forks were know for their oscillation but this apparently was fixed by tougher steel. Is it worth it?

What year? I don't think the Poprad has shipped with a straight-bladed steel fork for a long time. My '05 came with a curved aluminum (which I replaced). The steel fork might be from way back in '03, in which case I'd try to get the price down to $60 or so.

Here's a link showing the '01 Poprad, which did have a steel fork:

Pretty nice bike. Love that it's straight bladed. I think they switched to the aluminum in 04 or so.

I'm fairly sure that fork is 1" and not 1 1/8". Make sure before you buy. My buddy has an 02 with a 1" threadless fork. My 05 Poprad is 1 1/8".

You can get an ird steel cross fork for $120 new. I think $100 is way too much for a used fork from 2001 or so.
