Rim question?

I just received a pair of Mavic CXP 10's. I was wondering if someone could tell me if I could fit 700x35 tires on those rims? Is there a difference between the width of road rims and if there is what is the measurement used?

Thanks

No problem with 700x35's on those rims. I've ran wider tires on open pro's with no problem, and they are a bit narrower than CXP-10's. What you need to look out for is do you have room for those tires in your frame and brakes? They should work fine with Canti's but will not work with recessed road caliper brakes! Fender clearance may be another issue with a tire that wide. Did that help?

Thank you for the reply,

Yes I'll have room for the tires, I've got a Redline cross frame and will be using cantilever brakes. Thanks again for the good news as I got the rims from a neghbor.
