Cyclocross and Gravelbiking (Recreational) This has to be the most physically intense sport ever invented. It's high speed bicycle racing on a short off road course or riding the off pavement rides on gravel like :The Dirty Kanza". We also have a dedicated Racing forum for the Cyclocross Hard Core Racers.

My New Cross Build...

So...picked up this:

And these:

Will also run the full group of this:

With this:

For a 39/42 - yeah, a 39/42...

Other bits include:
Tufo Primus Tubulars Black/Gray
3T Team Bar
Fizik Tape
Flight Saddle
Gore Cables/Housing
Cane Creek HS

Have not decided on pedals yet...hated the egg beaters last year, but might try the candy's with the small platform...or maybe just go shimano xtr...

Thoughts?

I have a very similar build. A CX-9 built with rival (well ... it will be as of tonight). For race wheels I have Mavic heliums with Tufo Flexus Primus 34c. I raced the frame with a different build last year and was very happy coming from an 05 Poprad. I'm using the Candies for pedals without complaints.

I will soon. I'm changing the group tonight and just glued the tires. I'll get the camera out this weekend and take some proper pictures of the fleet. Been meaning to do this for a while anyway.

Edit: I forgot that I took one recently at my desk.

Still baffles me as to why Cannondale runs the derailleur cables along the downtube.

I thought the same until riding this frame and now I wonder why other put them on the top tube. This has never been a problem even in the muddiest of conditions.

Cynikal, just an FYI, you are very close to the height limit on spacers and to make matters worse you have no steerer above the clamping area of the stem, this is a big no-no from ALL fork manufacturers on their carbon steerer forks.

Nice! One question though, what's with the different frames? The silver and then white.
