Cyclocross and Gravelbiking (Recreational) This has to be the most physically intense sport ever invented. It's high speed bicycle racing on a short off road course or riding the off pavement rides on gravel like : "Unbound Gravel". We also have a dedicated Racing forum for the Cyclocross Hard Core Racers.

Bianchi '09 or '10 Axis Tiagra Cyclocross Availability

Hey everyone,

I really want to try out and probably buy a Bianchi Axis '09 or '10 model.

Anyone have any idea where I can find one or a recommendation a bike that's just as good or better?

I am gonna use it or a combination of city commuting(initially) and eventually competition.

There are tons that are just as good or better. First step is to state your budget.

Hey there.

My budget is basically about $1200 maximum... the lower the better of course.

Most manufacturers have a cross bike in that range. What do your local shops carry?
