Purchase Inquiry
I'm considering purchasing a cyclocross and have narrowed down my options: Redline Conquest Pro, Felt 65x, Kona Jake the Snake, Specialized Crux, and last year's Santa Cruz Stigmata. I'm leaning toward the Kona and Felt because I prefer Shimano's shifter/derailers... fine-tuning/adjusting the front derailer especially.
Any comments, advice would be appreciated. I understand the fit is the most important issue and they all seem to be in the ballpark.
Thanks for your responses!

From what you listed, I think you need to decide if you want cantilever or disc brakes. The felt and some versions of the crux have disc. Also, I think the Redline is a carbon frame bike vs aluminum for the others. Being an owner of the Felt, I must say I love my disc brakes. I ride with a buddy who has cantilevers which shudder, squeal, and are slower in stopping him. I get a big smile on my face whenever he is attempting to slow quickly.
