My saddle is too grippy, suggestions?

Notices
Cyclocross and Gravelbiking (Recreational) This has to be the most physically intense sport ever invented. It's high speed bicycle racing on a short off road course or riding the off pavement rides on gravel like : "Unbound Gravel". We also have a dedicated Racing forum for the Cyclocross Hard Core Racers.

My saddle is too grippy, suggestions?

My saddle is too grippy, suggestions?

Hi All,
Just took a CX skills class over the weekend and learned a lot of cool stuff but in learning the techniques for re-mounting the bike my cycling shorts kept snagging on the saddle's material and rubbing the crap out of my inner thigh, in a bad way. I'd like there to be less friction on the saddle when remounting, is there specific material out there for saddles that's good? This is a Specialized saddle that came with my bike: 'Body Geometry Phenom Comp, hollow Cr-Mo rails'.

thanks,
Sam

I change out my saddle to a Fizik Aliante XM Twin Flex on my Kona JTS, & Fizik Arione TT on my Opus. I never have any problems sliding around on these 2 saddles, whether I'm riding in bibs, or bike shorts.
There's no seams on either, the Aliante has a bit of grip near the back end of the saddle, & is wider in the back then the Arione. I prefer the Arione on longer rides,it's thinner, & fits my sitbones better.
I don't ride my JTS as much, but I'm sure my butt would get used to the Aliante on longer rides.
