Sammy Slick vs Vittoria XN - which file tread clincher is better?

Notices
Cyclocross and Gravelbiking (Recreational) This has to be the most physically intense sport ever invented. It's high speed bicycle racing on a short off road course or riding the off pavement rides on gravel like : "Unbound Gravel". We also have a dedicated Racing forum for the Cyclocross Hard Core Racers.

Sammy Slick vs Vittoria XN - which file tread clincher is better?

I just bought a bike that came with the 700x35 sammy slicks. I also have some new Vittoria XN 700x32 tires. I don't really need two sets of file tread tires, so I'll probably try and trade one set out for something a little more knobby.

The vittoria's look like they MIGHT have better side knobs and the TPI count is higher, but the sammy slicks are wider, which may be better. Opinions?

Sorry, racing. Most of the courses around here are 90% grass.
