Sven to race worlds in Louisville

Notices
Cyclocross and Gravelbiking (Recreational) This has to be the most physically intense sport ever invented. It's high speed bicycle racing on a short off road course or riding the off pavement rides on gravel like : "Unbound Gravel". We also have a dedicated Racing forum for the Cyclocross Hard Core Racers.

Wonder what the appearance fee will be, since that is, typically,
one of the way they get paid, as professional bike racers .

It hadn't even occurred to me that any of the top racers might not come over.

after his less than stellar performance last year, he had said after the race that it may be his last...

but what one of us hasn't sworn off racing at one point haha... I am sure there is plenty of $$ in it for them

HOWEVER... I heard Exergy has been having some sponsorship problems (paying on sponsorship), which is one of the main sponsors of worlds... no?

There's no way they're gonna charge a fee for spectators at a CX race in the states, even if it is Worlds. Unfortunately, a lot of big names probably won't make the trip. Hope they do though. & yes, Exergy is the biggest sponsor for the USGP which is hosting the race & they seem to be defaulting. Hopefully, they find some new money at Interbike.
