Notices
Cyclocross and Gravelbiking (Recreational) This has to be the most physically intense sport ever invented. It's high speed bicycle racing on a short off road course or riding the off pavement rides on gravel like : "Unbound Gravel". We also have a dedicated Racing forum for the Cyclocross Hard Core Racers.

You will be fine with whatever. It is a very gentle grade. Only issues is if it is wet. It can get sloppy out toward White's Ferry. I had to stop and clear mud and crushed stone out of my fenders 2 or 3 times on a tour back home on the C&O after a big storm.
