Cyclocross and Gravelbiking (Recreational) This has to be the most physically intense sport ever invented. It's high speed bicycle racing on a short off road course or riding the off pavement rides on gravel like : "Unbound Gravel". We also have a dedicated Racing forum for the Cyclocross Hard Core Racers.

How much for my Kona? JTS 2006"

To begin with the bike is pristine. I only rode it a handful of times. I live in cali, its up in washington state. I never really got into bikes until now.

heres a link to the other forum if you could check that out as well : https://www.bikeforums.net/showthread...7#post14761547

It looks like im going to sell this bike to put money into a bike thats a little bit larger (I have a 37.5 -38" inseam and im 6'5)

I was thinking of listing it for $1000 and hope to get $700? I could be totally off here though. Thanks!

heres the bike : https://www.klassickona.com/oldgold/2..._the_snake.htm

Called mom to give me much specs as she could find :

60cm aluminum butted 7005 ea30(probably means easton) handlebar and seat
truVativ elita gxp
shimano tiagra rear
shimano sora front
breaks avid shorty
sunrims wheels
shimano sora flight deck tripple for break levers.

The specs your mom gave you suggest it's actually a Jake, not a Jake the Snake.

https://www.klassickona.com/oldgold/2006/jake.htm

As such, I think $500 is closer to the price you'll get.

Entry level. You may get more off a trade.

Got offered $425 for it... I'd really like $450 though. It's in mint showroom new condition. I know the components are low grade though.

So.

Take $425? Hold out for more?

Did you counter? If no, then ask for the added $. Also, the buyer may have something to throw in that you can use. Ie tires, etc. $425 plus....
