I crash a lot...
I am primarily a roady, but 3 years ago I started racing Cyclocross because it looked fun. It is. I hope we add a CX forum here for next year. It would be a better place to put this.
This is a video of all the crashes I caught on video while racing cyclocross this year. This sport is loosely connected with MTB. The crashes them selves look pretty spectacular but no one was hurt. Please let me know what you think.
Also, CX is a great way to develop bike handling skills.
Do you think it is good to know HOW to crash in the event it happens?

That was a fun watch. The last one was awesome. It was like he reached down and pulled the ejection handle. Good time.

More crashes, less dorky intro. (
)
Oof, looks like the last guy was reaching in to clear leaves or grass out of his fork or something. Not the best idea!

I was just posting in another thread how I am pleasantly surprised if I finish a CX race without hitting the deck at least once.

What do I think? That ya'll crash a lot in Idaho. In about four hours of footage this season, I think I got a total of five crashes that I can think of (2 mine). The last one was pretty spectacular, though. It was similar your last, but caused by a foot in the spokes, right at the beginning of:

Thanks for taking the time to post. I'm not sure how I would make it through the offseason without youtube/vimeo cross footage.
