My first CX bike

Got my first CX bike this past week - a Trek ION CX. It was monsooning down here when I picked it up, so was not able to ride it right away. Got tired of looking at it, so made the 10 mile commute to work on the bike this morning, and will take a 30 mile route for the ride home - including about 15 miles on the dirt levees around the everglades.

Very psyched to be part of the club.

My pace seemed liesurely this morning, but bested my MTB by a solid 2-3 mph. Looking forward to pushing it on the way home.

Cool! I did my first commute/ride on my new CX bike this morning as well! It was definitely fun!

I took the long way home, and knocked out 26+ miles on the way home. Knocked 20 minutes off of my time on the same route with my mountain bike
