Cyclocross and Gravelbiking (Recreational) This has to be the most physically intense sport ever invented. It's high speed bicycle racing on a short off road course or riding the off pavement rides on gravel like :The Dirty Kanza". We also have a dedicated Racing forum for the Cyclocross Hard Core Racers.

replacements part for Trek XO-1/2

Ok, here's a question for this saged group.

I need to replace the front and rear derailleurs and shifters on a Trek xO-1/2 (same frame). Am pretty much settled on SRAM PG-1070 11-28 (10 speed) cassette.

And brakes too.

Basically have an opportunity to build this bike up again and wondered... any opinions on what you would do, what system, parts, etc?

Racing Cyclocross? 36-46 double 11:46 is plenty high, bog down in the 36:28 and running up hill will be faster..

these brakes ?
are the current pro hot pick.

a few sets of wheels.. glued on tubulars.. [punctures are fixed during the week between races]..
