Any wheels here worth anything?

Notices
Cyclocross and Gravelbiking (Recreational) This has to be the most physically intense sport ever invented. It's high speed bicycle racing on a short off road course or riding the off pavement rides on gravel like : "Unbound Gravel". We also have a dedicated Racing forum for the Cyclocross Hard Core Racers.

Any wheels here worth anything?

Any wheels here worth anything?

Hello all,

Someone here in my area advertised a boat load of wheels for sale and thought I'd float the list (partial list, only 700c here) and see if anything hits anyone's fancy here as far as a wheel or set of wheels I should look into. I don't really know how I'd work it out if someone is interested in the wheels below. I'll work it out to just doing a "favor" for the most part if it's one or two people interested. I don't want to state the price cause I want to know if it's worth pursuing or not. Let's just say that a set will be less than $50 without shipping. The quantity is 5 for the first line below. Next line is quantity of 9 and so on. I THINK the comment I state below * is true. I'd have to follow up on it.

So is anything worth a *rap?

AA

PS the guy has other size wheels for offer too. That means 16", 20", 24", 26" and 650c

Parts Are Parts.. oh copy and paste question asker.. look up the retail price of the rims and hubs if you wish.

I expect each is a machine built wheel, needing the personal attention of someone with the skills to tension
and true them by hand.

wonder if the Port of Long Beach has lost one of their containers , importing wheels, from Asia..

I think most of these are OE on Fuji bikes. You might not be able to find a price for them to buy them new individually. Google for Alex wheels. Assuming the wheels are in good shape, they will be good for their intended use. Could make good training, commuting, back-up wheels depending on your needs.
