Custom CX build questions
im about ready to pull the trigger on a custom cx bike and i have some component questions?
1. Can I run SRAM red Shifters, Crankset, and front derailleurs with SRAM XX1 cassette and rear derailleur all on a bike with disc brakes (avid bb7 sl)?
2. Can I run Shimano Alfine Di2 11-speed hub in the back with a shimano ultegra Di2 up front (shifter, crankset, and derailleur)? if so, what chain and brakes to go with?

Are you planning sanctioned races to compete in , or is this just a sports bike?
1, bb7 road is short pull made to be used with brifters, high MA in the lever..
[note TRP is about to release 2 new cable operated disc calipers]
SRAM is about to release an integrated in the brifter hydraulic brake.
&2) look around the Pro Race coverage of Last years UCI Race season, Di2 has already
made inroads there , in the sponsored racers gear.

1) short pull cable disc brakes are there because of all the brifters users wanting them
As are the cable to hydraulic conversion ..
Just very recently, there is a Di2 for the Alfine 11, but its likely not compatible
with the road racing stuff, you are on your own on that ..
write to Shimano directly,
( local market for uberpremium bike parts, is near zero,
ordered for those with specific needs but not stocked on spec.. )
I just see some fancy stuff during the brief dry months, under tourists, riding the coast..
or city visitors from, like, PDX.
