Thoughts on 2014 GT Corsa Disc?

Cyclocross and Gravelbiking (Recreational) This has to be the most physically intense sport ever invented. It's high speed bicycle racing on a short off road course or riding the off pavement rides on gravel like : "Unbound Gravel". We also have a dedicated Racing forum for the Cyclocross Hard Core Racers.

Thoughts on 2014 GT Corsa Disc?

I've been looking for a steel "adventure" bike for the past couple years (the market that seems to be dominated by the ubiquitous QBP empire of Salsa/Surly). A bike with bigger tire clearances, rear rack mounts, and a comfy/bulletproof steel frame. Light touring & commuting in an all around bike to fill in the gaps between my road bike and my mountain bike. I work at a shop that stocks GT, and I was pretty excited by this offering.

I just wanted to get some differing opinions of the bikes specs. I doubt that my shop will get one of these in to test ride, but it may be worth a blind buy with the employee pricing. Steel frame and full carbon fork, 105/FSA components, 32 spoke wheelset. Opinions on Columbus Thron? I see it tends to use larger tubing, so would this produce a stiffer ride?
