What's the widest width tire for Kona Jake?

Is 700 x 35 the max tire width that I can put on a kona jake? I'm trying to find a low inflation knobby tire that can handle bumpy trails. Can anyone recommend something?

Thanks

Not sure, but what year is your Jake? My 2010 came with 35 Conti Speed Kings, and it could have taken wider.

My 2013 Jake fits 35s but could probably go with more - I haven't tried anything wider though.
