Paul Brakes

I'm kind of curious what Paul brakes people are running.

I have a 2006 Lemond Poprad (True Temper OX steel) and I am considering running the Neo-Retro
on the front and rear.

Any thoughts?

If I was shopping for new Paul brakes I would look at the Mini-motos, the mini-v. I have an 05 Poprad that I have mini-v's on, mostly due to the Easton EC90x fork being shuddery.

I'm using the wider profile Pauls on the front, and the narrower on the rear...I like the combination very much.

Neo Retro front, and Touring rear [gain heel clearance] is popular.

I was thinking of running that combo.

I need the best stopping power and was actually thinking of using the Neo Retro in the front.

I am currently using FSA SL-K brakes and the Neo Retro are the exact same size and width.

same here. i used to have avid shorties on my ion, but the pauls break much better. the neo retros in front have great clearance, and break much stronger.

Mini motos up front. My frame ('96 steel Bianchi Reparto Corse) had horrible fork juddering when braking. I solved it first with a set of Mini-Vs but the Paul Mini Motos give more clearance and feel better.

Wide profile canti like Neo Retro gives worst mechanical advantage (but widest clearance).

Just got a set of mini motos. amazing stopping and absolutely no shudder on my ritchey fork. also super easy to adjust if you are the kind of person to swap out wheelsets often.

I decided to with Paul Touring Canti's in the front and rear.

I am seriously impressed with how well they work, especially
with the Koolstop Salmon pads that were included.
