easy on-off fenders
I'm thinking about getting fenders for my cross bike for wet training / commuting rides and even warm up laps. I'm in the northwest and yeah it gets wet and muddy here. My 'cross bike actually has braze-ons to mount full fenders with stays, but I want something I can take on and off easily. I realize I will sacrifice some coverage, but that's ok. I mount full fenders on my road bike in the winter so I know the value of fenders. I wouldn't race in them, but even wearing rain gear I can see the value in not getting a thick stripe of mud/grime up my back on a training ride. Staying a bit drier and protecting your clothing seems worthwhile for training rides and even warm-up laps.
I've seen folks using mountain bike style rear fenders that mount to the seat post for warm up laps on race day. SKS makes various clip on fenders. These planet bike fenders look interesting https://www.cxmagazine.com/holiday-cy...oss-fender-set
Any opinions / reviews out there?

I spent all of $15 for my easy off fender that pretty much look like those in that link.
I made DIY extenders to get better coverage.

Allen wrench and a few minutes, and proper fenders come off easy enough ..
SKS Race blades attach to the forks and rear stays with rubber O rings ..
those may be a step up, at least you get a front, too ..
seems several other brands are wanting a piece of that market niche too ..
