CX Racing, 700C better than 650B or not a problem?

Hi all Cross riders, now with the Canyon Inflite going 650B for smaller sizes, i have a big question, ( i came from XCM, there was a time a few years ago that they say that 27,5ers where better for small riders, but with time in XCM the diference between 27,5 and 29ers is to big,)

so mi question is a problem for racing going with 650b in a cyclocross race? 700c is better?
forget the part that there are only 2 or 3 brands that make this 650B x 33 tires.

Scarcity of readily available wheels/tires in CX specs is the only thing I can think of.

The Pros are all on Sew-Ups , Glued tires don't come off the rim , when you run lower pressures..
