I see how it is.. I try and make you look fast, and you make me look like a crazyperson (because clearly I had nothing to do with it
).

I inadvertently ended up only taking "comedy" photos of you during your race ... so unless I cropped your head out of the shot there was no saving and of them. Next week I'll Photoshop lasers shooting out of your ass or something.
Edit: Found a "normal" one.

Great stuff! We've had one weekend of racing, and some underground stuff, but the real fun starts this weekend!

I have to work for the local Wed night series. Major bummage. But I should be able to get three Missoula races in at least, and hopefully some out of towners.
I'll try and borrow a camera for tomorrow's practice. Tonight's left my legs really sore. I forgot how fun this stuff is!

speaking of the "underground stuff," do you happen to know when/where the DFL series is taking place? i used to have a good source for intel last yr but it dried up. now i only hear about them after the fact when ppl post all their pics on flickr, and i sit around wishing i were there.

Here's a couple from Pain on the Peak this last Saturday. New venue and race put on by my team. Very dusty, hot, and tough.

My season opener: StarCrossed in Redmond WA. It was the perfect cross race; 50 degrees, rain, and mud:

Yeah, I raced. I did well my first couple of laps, but then my cold caught up to me. I'm feeling a lot better this week, probably 90%. We'll see if my lungs can keep up with my legs this go around. Come say hi at Ed Sander, there will be a beer in the cooler for you.
