1997 Trek 2300 Rebuild
I was lucky enough to come across this composite frame not too long ago, but it definitely needed a new coat of paint and some newer components. I hope you all enjoy this journey I started a few months ago!

Giving these beat up pedals some new life.

I got lazy and forgot to clean my finger oils off... definitely reacted with the paint...

I like your enthusiasm! Givent the time frame the bike is from i think your paint scheme is spot - on -- Trek even had one in a similar color scheme in the early 90's

Nice work, I hope the frame stays together for you, I've broken two of those bonded carbon/aluminum TREK frames, just riding in all weather & the bond separated without warning.

Beautiful build, love the color scheme, looking at the specs gotta say I’ve never heard of chin sin tires, but easy to know where they came from.
