Windsor area routes
 

Hello everyone,

I've just moved to Windsor from Toronto and am looking for good places to ride (road bike).

I live up near Walker Rd. and the 401 (Walkergate Estates).

I would love to find some safe routes to downtown Windsor (the waterfront), Lake St. Clair, and LaSalle.

I haven't seen many "real" cyclists here in Windsor so I don't think the drivers are used to them.

Most people I've seen are riding on the sidewalks and not on road bikes.

The E.C. Row Expressway and Huron-Church Road seem to be the most difficult roads to get past (with large, large trucks).
