Shipping UK to Canada
 

Does anyone here have experience buying bike stuff online from the UK. What was customs and such like price wise and if shipped via Royal Mail, does Canada Post deliver it here?? I'm looking at some Time RXE pedals and I want to have an idea what the total cost will be before I buy. If it's not worth it then I'll look for a domestic seller.

I’m guessing you’re looking at probikekit.com? If not look there, sometimes there are coupons in the roadie part of this forum & shipping is sometimes free.

I ordered tires from them. You can have the site display in Canadian dollars. Paid with my credit card, they ship royal airmail & Canada post delivers it with a five dollar handling fee & tax is the total of your purchase that was my experience.
Sorry to say it was much cheaper then the LBS but I still try to support them as much as I can.
They have great deals & free shipping really helps.

Actually I'm looking at ebay right now, Probikekit doesn't have Time pedals at this point...I think it has something to do with the Time pedal recall...

BTW I know what you mean about supporting the LBS, but very few carry the pedals I'm looking at...At least in the Hamilton area...And if I have to special order something like that I might as well do it myself and save a few bucks..

Ya ebay i believe works pretty much the same way. The wife won some kids stuff from the UK ebay & i guess cause it was small it landed in our mail box no fee's at all! But dose not happen all the time.
Yes it is easier sometimes to do it your self believe me i know.
