Looking for Bicycle Maintenance Class in Montreal

I'm planning a bike tour of Spain, and want to learn as much as I can about bike maintenance beforehand. I would ideally like to get hands-on instruction, but am having difficulty finding classes in English. Velo-quebec is only French, and I've been warned off Techno-Cycle's "bilingual" classes. Any other English classes don't have anything scheduled before the Fall (leave Sept. 3). I know about the co-ops, but have heard that they aren't very welcoming to people who don't understand the basics. At this point it seems I may have to resort to a book, which as you can imagine is not ideal. Zinn and the Art of Mountain Bike Maintenance would probably be where I'd start (I have a hybrid). If anyone has any advice I'd really appreciate it.

Did you try Cycle Regis on Van Horne in Outremont? Their website in only in French but I'm sure they speak English.

There is also Yéti, corner Fairmount and St-Laurent. Good luck!
