CCM Silver Ghost 1978
I picked up a SILVER GHOST last year in Montreal. The bike is in decent shape. Does anybody have any info on these bike re: quality, price etc

CCM are usually sold from ToyRus and Canadian Tire
most bike shops don't usually carry them ask they are considered box store bikes, like walmart, zellers, bay, sears, etc.

The Silver Ghost was an attempt by CCM to produce a bike similar to the legendary Schwinn Paramount. I believe the frames were built in Italy, and were very nice. There used to be one on display in the museum of science and technology in Ottawa. A very nice machine with top end Campagnolo components, it would not have been out of place in the professional peloton in those days.
