Just back from biking this trail. Did the St. Jerome to Mont Tremblant leg one day south to north (my first 100km + day ever), a day off in Tremblant for the blues festival, then Mont Laurier to Mont Tremblant north to south the final day. Recommend it to any recreational bikers (especially those that are also blues fans if you can work it around the festival)

Good stuff. I've skied the trail, would like to take a long weekend to ride the entire route.

I rode this trail and more last fall and it is so wonderful! I was telling some friends about it today, they are in town from Liberia, and I suggested it for a trip next weekend. My only concern is that it would be crowded - so how busy was it?

PS Did you try the beer?

will be very crowded next week. In Quebec many businesses and the whole construction industry is on vacation the last 2 weeks of July.

BTW another great area to ride is in the eastern townships "Le Route Vert" the level of difficulty is harder in some places but there are thousands of KM's. I recommend plotting a ride in the Orford or Magog area.

No issues with crowds in this area.

When I was there it was not too busy. We were in the southern part (I think the most traveled) on a Sunday. Tuesday was the day for the northern section -- very sparse on people. Of course it was mostly cold and raining both days so neither might be representative.

And no didn't try the beer -- didn't even know it existed. ;-)
