Help finding smaller polar bottles in Toronto or Canada.
Hi-hi everyone.
I posted here a while ago but not much help came there so I'm posting here in hopes others locally can help out.
https://www.bikeforums.net/showthread...z-Polar-bottle
Hope someone local can help me out and ask around thier LBSs or give me some support at MEC by calling pu and expressing your interest in it. Thanks to all my bikey sisters and brothers out there.

Have you contacted Polar to see if they have a retailer that sells the 20 oz bottle anywhere near the GTA? Mike

I ordered mine off Amazon.com ($12 USD) along with some panniers. I've seen them in town here (Saskatoon) but they're around $22 each, so even with shipping mine were cheaper. I don't think I paid duty on them (but I did on the panniers.)
I'd try calling all the LBSs in your area, if someone out here carries them you should be able to find some in T-dot. Also, they do fit in cages, but I had to spread the arms a bit on mine so I could wrest the bottle loose mid-ride. If you have CF cages or other ones that you can't bend make sure you can return the bottles if they don't fit.

Have you tried MEC? I think they sell them now.

MEC said they don't expect to have any 20oz bottles unless there is a large support for them. This is whyI mentioned in my other post to call them with other people voicing your support for the item to get them to bring it in.
How much are the people at the Oakville store selling the 20oz bottle? I don't have long distance to call them. It's been on/off for my hunting for the bottle.

You should have crossed the street to check out what they have at Europe Bound. 20oz was like $7.50, 24oz is a little more. Just saw them last week, and they had a full display right beside the cashier.

The King St location? I was in there last week, had the full cardboard display beside the counter, price is $7.59. The 24oz is $7.69 which is by the door. The store is a bit of mess, just go in, clerk probably didn't see it or something. I saw them a few weeks ago and thought of this thread when I saw it.

I can confirm that Europe Bound has the 20 oz. one even though they might say they don't when you call them. Not sure if they'll have the red one in stock though - fairly certain they had red when I last visited but that was several weeks ago.
