Best bike for light Trails in Bay of Fundy area?
Later this summer, my family is planning to take a trip to the Bay of Fundy in NB, and bring our bike up to do some easy dirt/gravel trails... the rest of my family all has mountain bikes or hybrids, which are suitable, but I only have a Single Speed road bike... I have been planning to buy a new bike anyway, for using in rainy conditions, so what kind of bike would anyone recommend for a 500 and below budget? What do you use if you bike in the region?

If you`re talking about any of the trails in the parks, beaches or other tourist areas you can get by with just about anything. In a few areas there were walking trails only when I was there. Any mtb or hybrid with wider tires, medium tread and average gearing will do the job. Unpaved trails are mud and evergreen needles in some areas, gravel in others, and there are boardwalks in sand dune areas. Access to dune areas is usually restricted.
