Something that I've been wondering for a while is referenced in that article;

http://www.thestar.com/news/article/...her-dancer-mom

About the pregnant woman who was killed recently. Does anyone have better knowledge of the circumstances of the accident? Did the truck right hook her or was she trying to squeeze around the side of it?

Good riddance. Learn to ride in a regular lane.
And calling an overweight man who is trying to lose weight "fatboy" is the height of class. Good game.

Considering his highly offensive "swimming with the sharks" comment, Ford is fair game in my opinion.

He is trying (apparently not very hard) and FAILING to lose weight. His big publicity campaign, and he has lost like 3 pounds over how many weeks? He could probably lose more weight just taking a good ****.

I am personally someone who completely turned their physical state around and it only took a bit of intelligence and willpower. Ford's efforts at weight loss are laughable. Diet pills and expensive gimmicks are worthless, but that seems to be his mentality. Whining about how hard it is to lose weight, anything but changing your lifestyle and hard work. I have nothing but contempt for that attitude. I would like to take that pitiful fatbody for a run.

And in Ford's frank fashion, I'll call a spade a spade. Fat is fat is fat, no ifs ands or buts.

Using someone's physical appearance to score points against him/her are really low class in my opinion. If your argument is valid, let is stand on its own merits.
You can't judge a person on his/her efforts based on appearances. How do you know how hard he's trying?
I've been struggling to lose weight my whole life, with varying degrees of success. I work my ass off without any results, and I'm still fat.
I can only imagine what the mayor of the 5th largest city in North America is going through, on top of his weight issues, and to be called "fatboy" by someone who was himself overweight at some point is the cherry on the cake.

I'll admit that he has contempt for cyclists and that he's working hard to put more people into cars. But why involve his BMI in the argument?

If you don't like his situation it is better to remain silent than to show to

the world your gross lack of class, but your comments re Mayor Ford lead

me to wonder as to your general thoughts on government in general -

A Classless Society.
