Braun Cycle closed!
I was surprised to learn, when I swung by expecting to pick up a couple of parts the other day, that Braun's has closed all four locations. They have been in the bike business for generations, and if anyone was well established, you would think it was them.
I dealt with them quite a bit years ago when I lived in the region, and I still have a couple of bikes I bought there long ago.
When I shut down my shop at the end of 2008, they bought up the majority of my stock.
This news story says that the landlord with whom they are in dispute is owned by the Braun family, so the whole thing looks kind of strange.
