Aliexpress.com : Buy Electric bike sine wave controller 48V 350W small size 6 mosfet controller with PAS/ 48v controller brushless G K057 from Reliable controller ir suppliers on Suzhou SND Zhenlong Motor Co. Ltd | Alibaba Group
Can anyone give me some info into the advantages of this "sine wave" controller has over a sta
ndard one for a 48v 350w motor . The sine wave controller has advantages and disadvantages ,,,the latter needs some tweaking and am curious how much and is this too hard a task for a beginner .http://www.aliexpress.com/store/prod...828252006.html

When is your goal Rick? More power, more speed or is your controller fried? Unless your controller is dead you probably won't see much of a difference.

Denver commuter,,, Im gathering parts for my fat tyre bike . So far ive got the motor , battery , throttle , and thought about a standard cheapie controller , but have since bought a sine wave 36v & 48v adaptable , up to 500w controller . This will go with my 48v battery and the 36v 400w motor . I paid aud$50 which I think isn't too bad . My goal is I guess you could say for the area I live which is flat; get more speed , not torque , and distance . My other bike "which is considerably lighter" has a 200w motor and using the same battery gives me 26mph , the fatty weighs in at around 18kgs so im hoping the 400w motor will compensate for the extra weight . and give me the same speed and distance "30miles" thereabouts on 1 charge .
